The “Salida Básica” is perhaps the most used basic step when dancing Argentine Tango. Especially when we are just beginning to learn to dance Tango.
The Salida Básica Paralela encloses the Giro Code in its structure. Therefore you can say that the Salida Básica is a Giro so big that it looks like a line, the same as the horizon.
Here you can see the Salida Básica Paralela made by Osvaldo Zotto and Mora Godoy
We are going to introduce a variant to this. We change the direction of the follower’s Giro after the Front Cross.
Instead of continuing with an Open Step, we change it to a Back Cross. This Back Cross is the start of another Giro that will again end in a Front Cross.

Special Goal
At the end of the sequence, the leader looks forward again in the direction of the dance floor. We have to adjust the steps, the pivots and the distances to be able to reach this situation and we will see these details during the class this Sunday by zoom.
Let us know in the comment section what you think about this sequence and if you would like to see more variations from the Salida Básica.
